A perennial favourite, consistently featuring in annual Top 10 lists of the most-watched television programmes in this country, last year a peak of 885000 viewers tuned in to see Charmaine Kenny, a Trinity College graduate from Athy, Co Kildare, crowned as the 51st Rose of Tralee.
